This has been the best class I've taken. I love that we've covered so many different methods and techniques over a 6-week series. I've learned more about watercolor than I expected and would sign up for another series in a heartbeat.

I learned the most from watching Heather draw. Her enthusiasm is infectious. There is an ease to Heather's class and she makes an attempt at drawing seem less intimidating.

Painting through this watercolor class has been a true delight! Heather gives just enough instruction to give direction; but mainly focuses on bountiful inspiration to make your own unique creation. I feel like the class truly taught how to paint using the medium of watercolor; not just how to copy the teacher's painting. I always leave wanting to paint more!

I've taken several watercolor classes – all pretty structured painting the same picture. No thought or creativity involved. Heather's class leads participants to think outside the box and play. I learned so many techniques just by allowing myself the freedom to play.

Heather is a great artist AND a great instructor!  I learned techniques in each of Heathers' workshops that helped me see immediate and dramatic improvements in my figure drawing efforts.  I think the biggest payoff for me was discovering that I approached figure drawing with an entirely different vision.  Heathers' instruction definitely helped me become a better artist.

Loved the class! It was my first attempt to learn figure drawing and I have learned so much from Heather. She is a talented artist and a great, patient teacher. Her content was so engaging and very helpful.  Would take any class she offered.

Diversified, yet basic techniques to free the mind and soul. Relaxing and mind stimulating. Loved it. Your relaxing and caring countenance was a retreat in itself. Highly recommend to anyone.

Heather provides excellent instruction that is easy to incorporate into your artwork both in class and beyond! The class setting is bright and upbeat with great music playing in the background. Figure Drawing at CityArts brings an element of progressiveness to Panama City that seems to have been, up until now, only found in larger cities. But it's here now!

This class was very helpful. LOVE Heather's style of teaching: easy, smooth, and fun. A good basic introduction to figure drawing.

What an amazing class!! With the emphasis on play, it was very freeing! Any mistakes were simply opportunities to learn. I feel like my inner artist has blossomed!

First off, Heather is not only an amazing artist, but also instructor. Very knowledgable and explains things clearly. I love grasping the basics so I can add on to my skills. Anyone who finds figure drawing a challenge should take this class to get rid of that fear. I learned a lot in just 6 weeks. Plus, it was FUN!

The class was great in pushing me to explore watercolor which I previously looked at negatively (because I sucked at it.) But being given the proper materials and encouragement to experiment has lead me to add another weapon in my artistic arsenal.

The stages of learning watercolor were well laid out.  It was fun to watch how Heather thinks about creating her art.  She is very pleasant and an encouraging voice.  I would absolutely take any art class from Heather in the future.
