Blooming Stargazer Lilies print

This lady created entirely with watercolor (who happens to be me!) is blooming with stargazer lilies.  Stargazers are native flowers and these are lovingly painted with all that make these flowers special- their spiky textured petals, their long, graceful stamen, and their gorgeous pinks- largely painted with one of my fav colors, opera rose.  The portrait features are painted with fine detail, which fade back into the flowers with almost a double-exposure effect.  As with many of this series, I let the background be free, colorful, and playful, to represent a celebration of the abundance of nature, and our connection to it.
